About The Position

The Pre-Cure Tread Operator (PCT) performs daily activities of the PCT production operation for their assigned shift. They are accountable for the quality and quantity of the product, the efficiency of the equipment, and maintaining a safe, neat, and clean work area. Duties may include extruding the tread, curing the tread, trimming/visual inspection of tread, and buffing/packaging of tread. Comprehensive training is provided for various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 0-1 year of manufacturing experience needed
  • Must adhere to safety procedures/guidelines at all times, including wearing safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
  • Must be able to perform occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform frequent lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform occasional bending, squatting, climbing stairs/ladders, and twisting.
  • Must be able to perform frequent reaching.
  • Must be able to perform occasional over the shoulder work.
