PCT Material Handler - Illinois

The PCT Material Handler position involves ensuring the production line is either filled and/or emptied. The material handler will be on a tugger the majority of the shift moving product from one area to another. Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes overnight shifts. The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED recommended
- Applicants without a High School Diploma or GED, must complete In-House Competency Test (non-core jobs only) to be deemed eligible
- 0-1 year of manufacturing experience needed
- Must adhere to safety procedures/guidelines at all times.
- Must wear safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring production line is either filled and/or emptied.
- Moving product from one area to another on a tugger for the majority of the shift.
