The Pre-Cure Tread Operator (PCT) performs daily activities of the PCT production operation for their assigned shift. They are accountable for the quality and quantity of the product, the efficiency of the equipment, and maintaining a safe, neat, and clean work area. Duties may include extruding the tread, curing the tread, trimming/visual inspection of tread, and buffing/packaging of tread. Safety is a top priority, and all safety procedures and guidelines must be adhered to, including wearing required safety gear such as hearing protection and steel-toe shoes. New hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes overnights. The role operates within a non-climate-controlled environment, exposing employees to temperature swings, forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. The majority of the work is completed in a high-heat environment. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
