This position will support the preconstruction team by managing the flow, visibility, and coordination of estimating and preconstruction efforts. The primary roles and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, maintaining the estimating log, ensuring real-time accuracy of project status, due dates, assignments, and values, driving alignment of opportunity data across marketing, estimating, and finance platforms, coordinating estimate setup, including estimate number creation and alignment with internal systems, tracking and supporting the go/no-go process by coordinating input, following up with stakeholders, and documenting decisions, helping to ensure estimating resources are aligned with confirmed pursuit strategy, maintaining estimating workload tracking to provide visibility into team capacity and upcoming commitments, identifying potential resource constraints and communicating conflicts early, supporting leadership with clear, actionable information to inform prioritization decisions, establishing and maintaining internal estimating milestones for each pursuit, ensuring internal review meetings are scheduled and occur at appropriate stages, monitoring progress and flagging risks early to prevent last-minute compression of effort, supporting the development of subcontractor bid lists using standardized templates, tracking subcontractor participation across trades and projects, identifying and escalating gaps in coverage early in the process, ensuring bid readiness by maintaining organized subcontractor quotes, leveling documentation, and file structures, supporting consistent folder structures and naming conventions across all projects, assisting with post-bid organization to support smooth transition to procurement and operations, standardizing and maintaining estimating platform setup within multiple estimating software across all projects, supporting consistent use of preconstruction tracking tools such as Join, ensuring alignment between estimating outputs and tracking platforms, assisting in the development and implementation of standardized workflows and best practices, and coordinating with Marketing to ensure timely delivery of estimating inputs for proposal submissions. This role also involves interfacing with Procurement, Operations, and Finance to maintain alignment of project information and promoting clear and consistent communication across project teams.
