About The Position

Raineri Construction is seeking a self-motivated, highly organized individual to serve as a Pre-construction Administrator. The starting salary range for this full-time position is 50K, negotiable based on experience. Raineri Construction is a full-service general building contractor specializing in design-build construction. Raineri provides turnkey project development services and comprehensive construction and management solutions for a variety of industries. Based in St. Louis, the company has grown each year since its inception in 2003 and currently employs more than 100 employees. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree, construction-related OR 2 years’+ experience in construction administration
  • Advanced proficiency in computer operations and a variety of software applications.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft 365 applications & Adobe Acrobat specifically.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and highly organized.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.

Responsibilities

  • Aggregating, preparing, and delivering all documents, bonds, and forms required to submit a comprehensive and responsive bid package using accurate, organized, and methodical practices from project inception through bid day and post-bid follow-up.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creating system files for new projects.
  • Downloading project documents and aggregating them in appropriate folders.
  • Extracting, ascertaining requirements, and preparing bidding documents from specifications/ITBs.
  • Creating/modifying calendar appointments for all pre-bid meetings, bid dates, and other necessary pre-construction meetings.
  • Converting bid forms and SOVs to spreadsheets, then uploading them to Estimating software.
  • Modifying or creating fillable forms, acquiring signatures on bidding documents due on bid day, and distributing them to subcontractors who must return them on bid day.
  • Applying for and tracking all bid bonds on project bidding.
  • Registering Raineri on all plan holder lists at project Plan Rooms (EPlan, Dodge, Municipal, Architect/Engineers, etc.).
  • Monitoring Plan Rooms for project updates (Addenda, RFI responses, clarifications, etc.).
  • Downloading documents to the system files, revising forms as needed, and notifying the Estimator of changes.
  • Maintaining and updating the bid log when revisions are made.
  • Registering, uploading, and maintaining qualifications on all online bid portals.
  • Assisting in subcontractor engagement and new recruitment.
  • Coordinating and preparing all necessary insurance, bonding, and bid packages.
  • Preparing and updating marketing and organizational biography materials as needed for business development and bidding requirements.
  • Setting up new vendors in bid invitation software and periodically updating contact information.
  • Coordinating with Estimators to advise on project requirements, notify of revisions, and to populate all required bidding forms.
  • Responsible for the acquisition and delivery of all required bidding documents to submit a responsive and responsible bid package.
