About The Position

Coordinates physician practice operations and provides administrative support to management of physician practices. Proactively supports efforts to ensure efficient operations and may function as a working supervisor. Oversees a small practice with 1 to 3 physicians or assists a practice manager with a large practice of 6 or more physicians.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of the degree, in addition to the experience requirement.
• Three years of medical office, healthcare, or related experience, or a total of six years of experience in lieu of the degree.
• No licenses or certifications required.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
