The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking dedicated faculty and leaders committed to inspiring and guiding students. Requirements
- Teaching Experience Required
- PhD in Government OR Political Science OR Politics OR Philosophy OR JD OR Master’s in above areas
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with Master’s in any field with 9 graduate credits in Government AND substantial teaching experience
- Your unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 9 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
- Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
