Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2026 Semester (09/08/2026 - 12/18/2026) Course: Emergency Medical Care Technician Fundamentals This course is designed to provide participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to function effectively as Emergency Medical Care Technicians (EMCTs) in a variety of emergency situations. This foundational course integrates theoretical learning with hands-on practical training, ensuring students are well-prepared to deliver critical pre-hospital medical care with competence and confidence. Throughout the course, students will acquire a comprehensive understanding of EMS systems, medical terminology, and basic anatomy and physiology. They will learn essential assessment techniques, patient care procedures, and effective communication skills essential for interacting with patients, bystanders, and healthcare professionals.
