About The Position

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking dedicated adjunct faculty to teach part-time, in-person courses at its Phoenix campus. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Justice Studies, Criminal Justice, or Legal Studies
  • Statistics coursework
  • Substantial work/teaching experience
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in Justice Studies, Criminal Justice, or Legal Studies

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Justice Studies, Criminal Justice, or Legal Studies
  • Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master's in any field AND 18-graduate credits in Justice Studies

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
