About The Position
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking dedicated adjunct faculty to teach part-time, in-person courses at its Phoenix campus. Requirements
- Master's degree in Justice Studies, Criminal Justice, or Legal Studies
- Statistics coursework
- Substantial work/teaching experience
- Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in Justice Studies, Criminal Justice, or Legal Studies
Nice To Haves
- PhD in Justice Studies, Criminal Justice, or Legal Studies
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master's in any field AND 18-graduate credits in Justice Studies
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
