About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Allergy Division locations in Westbury and Commack, New York. This is a key leadership role that helps keep the office running smoothly—supporting our clinicians, staff, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every patient and family who walks through our doors.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of experience (or an equivalent combo of education and experience)
- Experienced in managing teams and understand HR best practices
- Know your way around medical billing, coding, and terminology
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a great communicator
- Comfortable navigating healthcare laws, ethics, and compliance
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems
Responsibilities
- Hiring, training, and mentoring staff
- Foster a supportive environment through regular check-ins, team meetings, and performance conversations with both staff and clinicians
- Ensure staffing and scheduling are thoughtfully planned to support smooth daily operations and patient flow
- Keep all required trainings on track and completed in a timely manner
- Ensuring patients are scheduled smoothly and registered correctly
- Helping patients feel seen, heard, and well taken care of—even when they have questions or concerns
- Making sure patient records are accurate and up to date
- Managing the day-to-day details like cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance
- Keeping us compliant with healthcare regulations and best practices
- Managing inventory and liaising with vendors
- Overseeing billing, coding, and banking processes
- Keeping an eye on spending and helping the practice stay financially healthy
- Making sure billing and claims are handled quickly and accurately
- Making sure policies and procedures are up-to-date and followed
- Acting as the go-between with our Home Office (Corporate Office)
- Helping maintain a respectful, collaborative, and supportive work culture
