Putting people first The Practice Manager (PM) is responsible for the management of the facility in its entirety, including business management, financial management and overall clinical operations management. It is the Practice Managers job to ensure the highest level of customer experience satisfaction and efficient staff management. It is the job of the Practice Manager to implement and enforce all CityVet policies, standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Understanding of state and federal safety standards
  • Knowledge of regulations governing veterinary clinics
  • High school diploma/GED + 3 years relevant experience or bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce all CityVet policies, standards and procedures.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer experience satisfaction and efficient staff management.
  • Manage the facility in its entirety, including business management, financial management and overall clinical operations management.
  • Interview, hire, onboard, train and supervise facility staff members.
  • Ensure staff understanding of job responsibilities and career path opportunities.
  • Provide continuous staff development through professional and clinical training.
  • Conduct timely performance and salary reviews.
  • Complete disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control of all daily operations, client care, client service and client records.
