About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody excellence, compassion, teamwork and purpose to join our Developmental Pediatrics leadership team in the role of Practice Manager. This role is accountable for directing and facilitating many aspects of management for both patient care staff and clerical staff to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. The Practice Manager assists the Director in planning, directing, and overseeing the overall operations within their areas of responsibility. This includes providing day-to-day supervision in assigned patient services areas, managing financial aspects, and ensuring facility adequacy. A key aspect of this role is maintaining optimal communication and collaboration between practice staff, physicians, external customers, and appropriate health system staff to ensure service delivery that exceeds customer expectations and promotes service excellence.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Knowledge of Third party payer regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Health Care Administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or health care related field with a minimum of 2 years of concurrent management experience within an ambulatory/physician practice setting.
• At least three years of prior experience in a business office and clinical setting with management experience.
