About The Position

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position, Monday through Friday, day shift. Providers may see patients at Livingston Ambulatory Center (main campus) and the Child Development Center in Westerville. In Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP), we provide high-quality, accessible care for children with emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders. We collaborate with families, schools, community organizations, and other healthcare providers to offer individualized care for each child. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) participate in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children with emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns. Prior provider and/or pediatric experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Master of Science degree or equivalent provision.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio.
• Maintains national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA.

Nice To Haves

• Prior provider and/or peds experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and/or populations; develops, implements and evaluates plans of care; clearly documents and communicates information both in written and verbal forms.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines and standards as necessary for the care of the patient.
• Utilizing evidence-based practice, serves as a clinical expert for policies, procedures, documentation, and skills.
• Assists in the education, training, and development of new and existing staff members.
• Engages in the “community of the work unit” by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, and engages in Quality Improvement.
• Leverages technology and informatics to optimize healthcare outcomes.
• Commits to continued professional development of self and others.
• Contributes to the division and/or specialty goals and the Hospital Strategic Plan.
