The primary responsibility of the Practice Director is to maintain a consistent above average performance metrics, provide business generation leadership, motivation and direction to direct reports, participate in the recruitment of new hires, and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. This role involves driving revenue generating activities, executing operational focus areas, meeting productivity standards, and effectively managing time, planning, and multitasking. The Practice Director will also be responsible for reaching target performance metrics, attracting and sourcing talent, and training, developing, and retaining staff. Additionally, they will focus on achieving pricing goals, possessing expert knowledge of the practice group, and quickly recognizing and acting upon business trends. Key competencies include effective communication, promoting collaboration, motivating and leading by example, providing recognition, managing change, and facilitating resolutions with internal staff, clients, and candidates. The role also requires leading customer retention and expansion strategies, building customer loyalty through superior service, and leading with character to build trust, respect, and credibility.
