The College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) is a non-profit regulatory organization dedicated to protecting Alberta healthcare users by regulating the professions of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Health Care Aides (HCAs). The CLHA sets and maintains standards to ensure the public receives safe, competent, and ethical healthcare services, with a primary focus on public protection and regulatory excellence. This is a full-time permanent position, eligible for hybrid work with two days per week in the Edmonton office. The Practice Advisor reports to the Practice Manager and is responsible for reviewing legislation, regulations, and emerging issues to provide informed regulatory responses and practice guidance. This role supports the assessment of trends in regulatory inquiries, ensures the organization remains responsive to healthcare system priorities, and represents the CLHA at provincial and national levels to advance organizational goals and professional practice excellence.
