This role will support several the orthopedic service line throughout northern Michigan. The Practice Administrator leads the performance and operations of assigned medical practices, ensuring efficient workflows, strong financial management, and high-quality patient care. This role builds and develops high-performing teams, promotes excellent patient access and customer service, and drives employee engagement. As a key member of leadership, the Practice Administrator contributes to strategy development and execution, using data-driven insights to improve operations, enhance patient experience, and achieve short- and long-term business, financial, and quality goals. Drive operational and financial performance by monitoring budgets, KPIs, and revenue cycle processes, implementing corrective actions to meet organizational goals. Ensure compliance and regulatory adherence across all practice operations, including billing, coding, documentation, and federal, state, and accreditation requirements. Lead and develop high-performing teams by recruiting, coaching, and evaluating managers and staff, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment. Optimize workflows and systems by improving patient flow, staffing models, and use of technology (EHR, analytics, billing systems) to enhance efficiency and outcomes. Support strategic growth and service line development through planning, forecasting, business case development, and implementation of initiatives that expand access and improve care delivery. Enhance quality, safety, and patient experience by driving performance on quality metrics, ensuring continuous improvement, and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and access.
