About The Position

Full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track position responsible for instruction and clinical performance, supervision, course and curriculum development, advising and counseling, and maintaining professional services and growth. Faculty responsibilities include cooperation and collaboration with clinical site staff, peers in nursing, and other college departments to meet students’ learning needs. The practical nursing program is fully approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Faculty must be willing to teach day and/or evening, and hours vary according to class schedule. Clinical supervision may require early morning or evening work schedule. In addition, this position must be able to complete clinical rotations in a variety of healthcare settings and carry out our related nursing care as well as provide timely response to external/internal imposed conditions and deadlines. Requirements

  • Associate degree in nursing
  • Minimum of one year related professional occupational experience
  • Active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse with privileges to practice in the state of Missouri
  • Valid driver’s license
