About The Position
West Kentucky Community & Technical College is hiring a full-time nursing faculty member for its Practical Nursing program. This is a 10-month, in-person, on-site position with standard hours of 37.5 per week. The annual salary is $51,230. The instructor teaches classroom, clinical, and campus laboratory courses in nursing care across the lifespan. Additional duties include team teaching, curriculum development, department and college committee assignments, student advising, community service, and professional development activities.
Requirements
- At least an Associate degree in Nursing.
- Willingness to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within three years.
- Current, unencumbered license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- At least two years of full-time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse within the immediate past five years.
- Commitment to teaching excellence and ability to adapt to student learning needs.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Maintain expertise in the clinical or functional area of responsibility.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or completion of the degree within three years of experience.
