About The Position

West Kentucky Community & Technical College is hiring a full-time nursing faculty member for its Practical Nursing program. This is a 10-month, in-person position in the Nursing & Allied Health department. The role includes classroom, clinical, and campus laboratory instruction in nursing care throughout the lifespan, along with team teaching, curriculum development, committee assignments, student advising, community service, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing.
• Willingness to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within 3 years.
• Current, unencumbered license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• At least 2 years of full-time or equivalent registered nurse experience within the immediate past 5 years.
• Maintain expertise in the clinical or functional area of responsibility.
• Commitment to teaching excellence, ability to adapt to student learning needs, and ability to work as a team member.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or completion of the degree within 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities
