About The Position

Stepful is seeking an experienced Adjunct Instructor to join their team on a contract basis to support their Board of Nursing–approved Practical Nursing program. The role involves guiding and supervising students during in-person clinical rotations and skills labs, helping them build hands-on nursing skills and apply classroom knowledge in real-world healthcare settings. This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with faculty experience in RN or LPN education who enjoys mentoring students in hands-on learning environments. Instruction takes place onsite in the Columbus, Ohio area, including clinical rotations at partner healthcare facilities and skills labs. In-person sessions are scheduled for Fridays from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, aligning with program rotations and skills lab needs. This is a 1099 contract role with variable hours based on the number of courses taught.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as faculty in an RN or LPN education program
2+ years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse
5+ years of varied nursing experience across clinical practice, nursing education, and/or administration
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
Active, unencumbered Ohio RN license
Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners
Availability to be in-person with students on Fridays
