You want to hold a hands-on role where your versatility and resourcefulness make a real difference every day? A well-established organization in the Outaouais region is looking for a Building Maintenance Attendant to contribute to the proper maintenance of its real estate portfolio.

Quick start as early as next week! This is a temporary position scheduled until August 28.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)
• Have a vehicle for transportation
• Be comfortable driving a van or pick-up truck
• Be able to lift and handle loads up to 23 kg
• The position involves working with vulnerable people. As such, a criminal record check (vulnerable sector) will be required as part of the hiring process.
• Be legally authorized to work in Canada
• Demonstrate autonomy, resourcefulness, good teamwork, and an excellent sense of responsibility

Responsibilities

• Scrape and wax floors
• Mop floors, wash windows, and clean laundry rooms
• Perform minor painting tasks (hallways, doors, etc.)
• Participate in handling bulky items in a two-person team (sofas, refrigerators, furniture, etc.)
• Take out waste containers from buildings
• Pick up trash on various sites
• Occasionally assist with preparatory work related to exterminating apartments, when required
• Drive a van or pick-up truck to perform certain tasks
