About The Position

As a Freelance PR Manager, you will develop and implement communication strategies that maintain a positive public image for our clients in the gaming industry. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their goals are met through high-quality PR campaigns while overseeing the work of the PR team. Requirements

Strong understanding of PR concepts, media relations, and communications best practices.
Deep knowledge of the gaming and digital media trends.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful PR strategies for clients.
Outstanding relationship-building skills with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
Ability to manage reputational risks and proactively address client concerns.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling client narratives.
Strong leadership capabilities.
Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple client accounts.
Strong research and analytical abilities to track industry trends and evaluate campaign performance.
Proficient in interpreting PR metrics and making data-driven decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
Experience in a marketing agency, preferably within the gaming, esports, or technology sectors.
Proficiency with PR tools and databases.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and influencer marketing in the gaming space.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage multi-channel PR strategies aligned with client goals and industry trends.
Manage and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration.
Liaise with internal teams to develop cohesive communication strategies across departments.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Provide regular feedback and oversee the development of junior team members.
Build and maintain strong relationships with gaming industry media, influencers, and content creators.
Promote and safeguard client reputations through strategic media placements and relationship management.
Proactively manage potential reputational risks and implement crisis communication strategies when necessary.
Oversee the creation, proofreading, and editing of all client-facing content, including press releases, media advisories, and public statements.
Ensure that all communication aligns with client messaging, branding, and target audience.
Measure and evaluate the success of PR activities and campaigns against defined KPIs.
Prepare and present detailed reports on PR outcomes and client performance to internal and external stakeholders.
