About The Position

As a member of the Program Management - PPAP team, the PPAP Quality Engineer will be responsible for coordinating supplier and verifying quality standards in accordance with requirements of the organization and the customer.

Requirements

• SQMS/ PIA Mercedes-Benz experience
• 2 – 5 years’ experience in automotive industry
• Knowledge of auditing processes like VDA6.3 / AIAG
• Structured problem-solving mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• English language proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language proficiency
• German language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Executing PPAP Process for components and assemblies on the given time frame and milestones
• Coordination and steering of supplier PPAP submissions in terms of documentation and hardware.
• Ensuring the quality of submitted documentation by reviewing and analyzing it in detail.
• Effective communication to Customer Quality responsible to align requirements and milestones.
• Upload PPAP submissions in customer systems.
• Internal and external reporting of status and KPI’s
