About The Position

This role involves operating and maintaining various 3D printing and/or CNC machines. The specialist will be responsible for preparing equipment, converting CAD models, monitoring print jobs, post-processing parts, performing maintenance, and collaborating with other teams to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Ability to operate and maintain various 3D printing machines (FDM, SLA, SLS, DMLS, etc.) and/or CNC machines.
Skill in preparing and calibrating equipment for print jobs.
Proficiency in interpreting 3D CAD models and converting them to machine-readable files (e.g., STL, G-code).
Experience in monitoring print jobs and making adjustments.
Capability in post-processing finished parts (e.g., cleaning, curing, sanding, support removal).
Experience with regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines.
Ability to maintain accurate logs of machine usage, maintenance, and production output.
Strong collaboration skills with design, engineering, or production teams.
Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain various 3D printing machines (FDM, SLA, SLS, DMLS, etc.) and/or CNC machines as required.

Interpret 3D CAD models and convert them to machine-readable files (e.g., STL, G-code).
Monitor print jobs for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
Post-process finished parts (e.g., cleaning, curing, sanding, support removal).
Conduct regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines.
Maintain accurate logs of machine usage, maintenance, and production output.
Collaborate with design, engineering, or production teams to meet specifications and deadlines.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
