About The Position

DEM Elevating Equipment is a family-owned and operated elevator manufacturing company with nearly three decades of experience. They offer a comprehensive product lineup and are seeking a talented 3D Drafter to join their innovative Engineering Team.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• SolidWorks experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Dependable, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• AutoCAD experience a plus.
• Additional training or certifications in drafting or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D shop fabrication drawings for custom elevator systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and team members to refine and validate designs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications.
• Perform thorough quality checks for accuracy and completeness.
• Support the engineering team with custom drawings as project needs arise.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of drafting tasks.
