About The Position

River Valley Power Sport and Marine is hiring a Powersports Sales Representative in Rochester, MN. We are looking for driven, customer-focused sales professionals who want to build a career in powersports sales, motorsports sales, and commissioned retail sales. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in automotive sales, RV sales, equipment sales, or other high-ticket commission-based sales environments who want to work with exciting, lifestyle-driven products. In this role, you will sell ATVs, SxSs, motorcycles, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles from top brands including Can-Am, Honda, Polaris, Ski-Doo, Yamaha, Suzuki, Slingshot, Spyder, and Ryker. You will help customers choose the right vehicle based on their lifestyle while building long-term relationships that drive repeat and referral business. This is a year-round sales opportunity with multiple product lines that help create consistent income across all seasons. Income grows over time as you build product knowledge, customer relationships, and a strong book of business.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience preferred (powersports, automotive, RV, agriculture, equipment, or retail sales)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to build trust quickly
  • Comfortable learning and presenting technical product information
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and pre-owned powersports vehicles including ATVs, SxS, motorcycles, PWCs, and snowmobiles
  • Guide customers through a consultative, professional buying experience
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Follow up on leads, prospects, and previous customers
  • Learn and present product features, benefits, and comparisons across multiple brands
  • Utilize CRM and dealership tools including LightspeedEVO, Kenect, SharePoint, and BambooHR
  • Prospect and generate new sales opportunities
  • Stay current on competitor products and powersports industry trends
