About The Position

Constellation is seeking highly motivated students for a paid Summer 2027 internship with its Power Technical teams in Darlington, Maryland. The internship lasts approximately 10 weeks, from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience, working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor. Projects may involve investigating corrosion in water systems, developing options to repair water piping, changing a liquid-level instrument design in a pressure vessel, analyzing safety valve maintenance and inspections, installing wireless amp current meters, or conducting an aqueous copper removal pilot project. Departments may include Fleet Operations & Support, Engineering, Corporate Tech, Maintenance, Operations, and Hydroelectric. The internship offers exposure to experienced professionals, varied tasks and departments, mentorship, professional networking, and potential consideration for future employment based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree program in Power Plant Technology.
A track record of outstanding academic performance.
Eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lawfully work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
