Summer 2027 Power Technical Internship - Granbury, TX (ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE ONLY)
About The Position
Constellation is seeking highly motivated students for a paid Summer 2027 internship with its Power Technical teams in Granbury, Texas. The internship lasts approximately 10 weeks, from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. Interns gain real-world, hands-on experience while working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor. Potential projects have included investigating corrosion in water systems, developing options to repair water piping, changing a liquid-level instrument design in a pressure vessel, analyzing safety-valve maintenance and inspection, installing wireless amp current meters, and piloting aqueous copper removal. Interns may work in Fleet Operations & Support, Engineering, Corporate Tech, Maintenance, Operations, or Hydroelectric. The experience includes working with experienced professionals, exploring tasks and departments, receiving mentorship, connecting with industry leaders, and contributing to a company focused on sustainability. Consideration for employment after the internship depends on performance and business needs.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an associate degree program in Operations, Electrical, or Mechanical.
- A track record of outstanding academic performance.
- Eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lawfully work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
