About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in designing and developing electrical power systems, performing power system studies, and supporting projects through all phases. The role involves collaborating with various teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery, and may include on-site travel for testing and commissioning activities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Coursework, project experience, or exposure to electrical power systems design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with power system analysis software such as SKM, EasyPower, ETAP, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical power systems that meet project requirements, industry standards, and applicable codes.
  • Perform power system studies and simulations to analyze performance, identify issues, and implement optimizations.
  • Support or lead power system projects through all phases, from concept and design to implementation and commissioning.
  • Prepare technical documentation including specifications, calculations, reports, and design drawings.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support testing and commissioning activities, providing both on-site field support with travel and remote technical assistance.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
