About The Position

The Power Supply Asset Manager is responsible for end-to-end asset lifecycle management of 3CE’s power supply portfolio, with a primary focus on asset performance, operational readiness, and value optimization. This role leads oversight of PPAs, ESAs, and other supply resources from execution through Commercial Operation Date (COD) and into steady-state operations, ensuring assets deliver expected performance, revenue, and compliance outcomes. This position serves as the central integrator across internal teams, developers, asset owners, and scheduling coordinators, driving operational alignment, issue resolution, and continuous performance monitoring. Contract management responsibilities support the asset management function by ensuring key obligations, milestones, and commercial terms are accurately tracked, interpreted, and executed throughout the asset lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Asset performance management, including monitoring generation, availability, and operational KPIs.
  • Knowledge of Energy generation technologies across renewable and conventional resources (solar, wind, storage, geothermal, hydro, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Wholesale power market operations within the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), including scheduling, dispatch, and settlements.
  • Knowledge of Power scheduling and coordination with Scheduling Coordinators for energy, ancillary services, and RA delivery.
  • Knowledge of Operational aspects of PPAs, including performance tracking, settlement alignment, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of Project development and operational readiness, including interconnection, COD, and transition to steady-state operations.
  • Knowledge of Portfolio monitoring and reporting, including variance analysis, exception tracking, and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of CAISO settlements, including charge code interpretation, invoice validation, and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of Resource Adequacy (RA) compliance and delivery performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of Renewable energy compliance, including REC management and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data/reporting tools for portfolio analytics, settlements validation, and performance tracking.
  • Ability to be thorough and detail oriented.
  • Ability to apply strong task prioritization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  • Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible work experience related to the duties and responsibilities described above, particularly in asset or resource management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination with developers and scheduling coordinators to prepare resources for Commercial Operation Date (COD), ensuring technical, operational, and market readiness.
  • Manage onboarding milestones, readiness criteria, data setup, and dependencies through COD and early operations.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination during go-live periods, ensuring a smooth and timely transition into commercial operations.
  • Oversee ongoing operational coordination and asset management activities across the lifecycle of the resource, from COD through steady-state operations.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination with developers and asset owners on operational matters impacting availability, performance, and compliance.
  • Monitor adherence to contractual operating requirements, performance standards, and delivery obligations over the life of the asset.
  • Support asset-related change management, including operating assumption updates, performance remediation efforts, and lifecycle transitions.
  • Own day-to-day operational coordination for onboarded assets, with a focus on performance during early operations.
  • Act as an operational subject matter expert on executed agreements, translating contractual and operational requirements into effective implementation.
  • Identify, track, and resolve operational issues across internal teams, developers, and scheduling coordinators to protect asset performance and compliance.
  • Monitor and report on onboarding progress, operational readiness, and ongoing CAISO market asset performance.
  • Proactively surface risks, constraints, or trends that could impact asset performance, compliance, or value.
  • Escalate material issues to Asset Management and leadership with clear context and recommended actions.
  • Develop and maintain standardized onboarding checklists, COD readiness playbooks, and operational trackers.
  • Drive improvements to workflows, documentation, and automation to support portfolio growth and operational scale.
  • Partner with internal teams to continuously improve operational execution and portfolio visibility.
  • Support Origination by coordinating executed and in-flight deals, aligning inputs, timelines, and cross-functional reviews to ensure smooth transition into asset onboarding.
  • Own post-execution handoff and onboarding of PPAs, ESAs, RA/capacity agreements, and related contracts to enable effective asset management.
