Power Station Operator Maintainer - Electrical
About The Position
Join Zenith Energy as a Power Station Operator Maintainer (Electrical) and help power some of Australia's most important remote operations. Based on a 2:2 FIFO roster from Perth to Bellevue, you'll be responsible for the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of our power generation assets. This permanent full-time opportunity is ideal for a qualified electrician who enjoys hands-on work, solving technical challenges, and working in a close-knit team. As part of Australia's leading independent remote power producer, you'll play a key role in delivering reliable and increasingly sustainable energy solutions.
Requirements
- Qualified electrician with a strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently, take pride in quality workmanship, and thrive in a remote operations environment.
- Essential WA Electrical Workers Licence.
- Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence.
- 3-5 years' post-trade electrical experience.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Good communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in power generation, mining or heavy industry.
- FIFO or remote site experience.
- HV Switching qualification.
- Supervised Gas Fitter Ticket.
- Experience using Pronto or a similar ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain reciprocating engines and power generation equipment.
- Perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Maintain engine management and power generation control systems.
- Inspect and analyse power generation and auxiliary equipment to optimise performance.
- Complete maintenance reports and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Raise and manage work orders and purchase orders using the ERP system.
- Participate in the on-call roster and respond to after-hours breakdowns while on site.
