The Power Plant Maintenance Planner II is an experienced technician that works closely with power plant operations and maintenance personnel to identify, plan, and schedule power plant maintenance activities. Leverages the maintenance management system (SAP) to ensure maintenance activities are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities Champions a corporate culture that emphasizes transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, sense of belonging, customer service, and operational excellence. Creates detailed job plans and schedules day to day and outage tasks to meet plant priorities and safety requirements. Works with plant maintenance (electrical and mechanical), operations, safety, environmental, apparatus and engineering sections to coordinate distribution of maintenance work between departments. Maintains accurate and complete equipment and outage records to ensure a good historical account of equipment maintenance. Creates, modifies and schedules P.M. work orders to maximize time. Monitor maintenance KPIs as compared to baseline and assist in the development and execution of strategies to improve performance. Checks contractors on and off plant site, oversees work performed and approves their time sheets. Works with O&M and Field Maintenance Supervisors to ensure proper priorities are used when allocating maintenance activities and personnel. Prepares requisitions and/or service entry sheets for contractors and materials. Orders unusual or critical parts to limit equipment downtime from parts shortage. Runs standard reports, backlog reports from SAP and creates custom and outage reports to improve maintenance effectiveness. Applies SAP processes to analyze and identify deficiencies. Assigns work to all maintenance leads and departments under the supervision of the respective Field Maintenance Supervisor Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting to supervision/management. Responsible for operating as the experienced staff for scheduling and planning maintenance within the power plant under manager guidance. Gain an understanding for plant O&M budget.
