Power & HVAC Foreman
About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Foreman to lead projects involving setup and teardown labor for Pump & Power equipment. Projects may include bypass pumping, generators and power distribution for special events, air conditioning and heating, water restoration, and disaster response. The role includes leading and coaching team members, planning and executing project work, coordinating with customers and internal resources, and ensuring project documentation and supplies are maintained. When not assigned to a project, the Foreman assists with shop and yard cleanliness, deliveries, pickups, and other day-to-day business activities.
Requirements
- Basic equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills for pumps, generators, power distribution, air conditioning, heaters, and shoring.
- Strong mechanical background, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of success.
- Construction background.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Basic equipment operating skills, including forklift and skid loader operation.
- Able to perform physical labor and regularly lift up to 100 pounds.
- Able to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 pounds or more, and work indoors or outdoors as required.
Nice To Haves
- Class A CDL preferred.
Responsibilities
- Motivate and coach team members during projects.
- Create project plans and execute them with team members.
- Assign tasks to crew members to accomplish daily goals.
- Communicate with customers and internal resources as a representative of Sunbelt Rentals.
- Create accurate project timelines.
- Maintain tools and supplies needed to complete projects.
- Document projects through daily notes, labor logs, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Assist with shop and yard cleanliness when not assigned to a project.
- Assist with deliveries, pickups, and everyday business activities when not assigned to a project.
