About The Position

HDR is seeking a Power Generation Project Manager to join a multidisciplinary team supporting power and energy projects for industrial, institutional, independent power producer (IPP), data center, and utility clients. Projects may involve traditional generation technologies—including gas-fired engines, turbines, boilers, and combined heat and power systems—as well as renewable energy such as solar and wind, and battery energy storage systems, including lithium-ion and long-duration storage. The role combines project delivery with client development. The Project Manager maintains client relationships from early positioning through project completion, develops project opportunities and execution strategies, and leads multidisciplinary teams. The position provides leadership and engineering support for detailed design and Owner’s Engineer projects, managing schedule, budget, quality, profitability, contractual matters, and communication with clients and project teams. HDR describes its culture as employee-owned, collaborative, and committed to inclusion. Employees are expected to contribute actively to that culture and to help create an environment where colleagues are welcomed, valued, respected, and empowered.
