About The Position

HDR is hiring a Power Generation Project Manager to support a multidisciplinary team delivering power and energy projects across industrial, institutional, independent power producer, data center, and utility power industries. Projects may involve traditional generation technologies—including gas-fired engines, turbines, boilers, and combined heat and power systems—as well as solar, wind, and battery energy storage, including lithium-ion and long-duration storage. The role combines project delivery with client relationship management and business development, from pre-positioning through project completion. The project manager develops strategies for performing work and leads multidisciplinary teams to successful outcomes. It also involves developing project work plans, meeting schedule, quality, and profitability goals, managing scope changes and contract administration, maintaining client relationships, supporting proposals and business development, and mentoring project staff.
