Working in a fast-paced environment, they rely on strong teamwork to complete tasks efficiently and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. Loewen is looking for a Class 4 or 5 Manitoba licensed Power Engineer to join the Maintenance department on a rotating shift at their Steinbach, MB manufacturing facility.

Requirements

Valid Manitoba Class 4 or Class 5 Power Engineer certification
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Proven ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
Solid organizational and time management skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Basic computer proficiency
First Aid Level 2 certification

Responsibilities

Maintain operation of the building systems including; security and fire protection systems, gas and wood burning boilers, heat exchangers, humidification systems, water treatment systems (including R.O.D.I. and water softeners), H.V.A.C. (heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems)
Maintain all chemical and boiler records
Maintain a strong understanding and working knowledge of all controls and building system equipment
Perform preventative maintenance duties
Other duties as assigned by managers and maintenance leaders
