This role involves reviewing and executing test plans, designing and building test setups, programming and operating test equipment, and analyzing test results. The engineer will also maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, generate formal test reports, and serve as a technical contact with third-party testing labs and certification agencies. Key responsibilities include performing validation and verification tests, setting up factory witness tests, ensuring equipment calibration, driving continuous improvement, troubleshooting issues, and adhering to safety requirements. The role also includes operating a forklift to move test equipment.
