About The Position

Reporting directly to the IT Director, we are seeking a Power BI Developer responsible for transforming raw business data into interactive dashboards, reports, and insights that support decision-making across the organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our mission while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred)
  • Power BI (Desktop & Service)
  • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
  • Power Query (M language)
  • SQL & data querying
  • Data modeling & warehousing concepts
  • Integration with tools like: ERP systems (e.g., Epicor), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), SharePoint / cloud data source
  • Understanding of APIs and data pipelines
  • Understanding and translating technical concepts to non-technical information and audiences.
  • Strong analytical mind, eye for detail and problem-solving skill; drive for automation and simplification.
  • Business acumen (understanding KPIs, operations, finance, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and translate business requirements into technical BI solutions
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Build and maintain data models (star schema, semantic models)
  • Connect and integrate multiple data sources (ERP, CRM, APIs, databases)
  • Use DAX and Power Query for calculations and data transformation
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security (row-level security, access control)
  • Optimize performance of reports and datasets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (IT, business leaders, analysts)
  • Document solutions and provide user training/support
  • Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and reporting platforms
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
