About The Position

This role involves analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, documenting, and operating large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data models, reports, dashboards, and other BI solutions for analytics based on business requirements and technical specifications using the Microsoft BI Platform (Azure Synapse, Power BI). The developer will work closely with internal teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into data models and BI solutions, while developing and maintaining relationships through effective communication with stakeholders and peers. Responsibilities also include performance tuning of solutions and working with BI architects on proofs of concept and prototypes of new tools, features, and technologies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Power BI development
• Experience building dynamic measures using DAX with cloud database systems (Synapse, AWS etc.)
• Good understanding of data warehousing & modeling concept
• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence Development Lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of Power BI application security layer models: Row-Level Security, Restricting Sharing and Publishing, Restricting Export and Printing
• Results driven mindset and ability to communicate and develop strong working relationships with people at all levels in a global environment
• Intermediate T-SQL Skills

Responsibilities
