About The Position

DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators), a nonprofit organization that administers benefits for companies owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Power BI Architect / Senior Engineer to establish and mature an early-stage enterprise Power BI environment. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for a 12-month extension. The role follows a hybrid schedule, with required in-office work on Mondays and Tuesdays. The position provides technical leadership across Power BI architecture, administration, configuration, security, development practices, and deployment. The successful candidate will work directly with the BI/ETL team to build production solutions and establish standards, tools, and practices for enterprise-scale Power BI. A key objective is knowledge transfer and team enablement: helping the internal team independently develop, administer, troubleshoot, and support the environment, including introducing modern development practices that use AI. The role also evaluates existing Tableau solutions and advises on migration or redevelopment in Power BI, including whether functionality should be replicated or redesigned using Power BI capabilities.
