About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a Power Apps Developer to help modernize critical national security systems and transform fragmented legacy data into integrated assets that support data-driven operations and faster, more accurate decision-making. The role contributes to the design, definition, development, and testing of cloud solution components, while serving as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure requirements are met and solutions are delivered. The developer will use Microsoft Power Apps—including Canvas and Model-Driven apps—Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Fx, and approved connectors to create resilient applications, relational data models, reusable components, and automated flows. Solutions may integrate SharePoint, SQL, and DoD-authorized sources. The role also supports data architecture, application security, audit-ready controls, solution packaging, and deployment across development, testing, and production environments.

Requirements

Experience building solution packages and Dataverse data models, including tables, relationships, forms, and views, and migrating solutions across development, testing, or production environments.
Hands-on development experience with Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps and Power Automate cloud flows using approved connectors such as SharePoint, Dataverse, and SQL.
Knowledge of Dataverse fundamentals, environment strategy, security roles or teams, solution transfer, dependency management, and ALM pipelines.
Ability to design secure application architectures with role-based access and connector governance.
Ability to implement audit-ready controls aligned with client policies.
Ability to package and deploy features via solutions, troubleshoot dependency issues, and move releases cleanly across environments.
Ability to write performant data logic in Power Fx and integrate flows or components.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

Experience automating processes and delivering dashboards with Power BI.
Experience with enterprise tools such as Qlik and Tableau.
Experience implementing environment governance and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
Knowledge of licensing tiers, including per-user or per-app licensing.
Knowledge of licensing and capacity planning, including Dataverse database, file, or log capacity; managed-environment licensing implications; and premium connectors.
Knowledge of data engineering and analytics concepts, including dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and BI or reporting in support of Power Platform solutions.
Ability to collaborate with analysts or engineers to translate requirements into scalable Dataverse schemas and automation patterns.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
PL-400 or PL-200 certification.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Dataverse data models, reusable components, and application integrations.
Design and implement data environments and application architectures that meet client requirements and support modernization efforts.
Build and migrate Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, and views using managed or unmanaged solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
Apply role-based access, connector governance, client-policy controls, and other security and audit requirements.
Package and deploy features through solutions, troubleshoot dependencies, and move releases between environments.
Write performant Power Fx data logic and integrate flows or components to support robust user experiences.
Assist in designing, defining, developing, and testing cloud solution components.
Collaborate with business analysts, technology teams, clients, and developers to resolve routine architecture issues and ensure requirements are met.
