About The Position

Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting a Power Apps Developer to support its USPS-OIG contract in Arlington, Virginia. The developer will create canvas and model-driven Power Apps, build enterprise mobile solutions, and use Power Platform best practices. The role includes integrating applications with multiple data sources and Office 365 services, using standard connectors and preferably creating custom connectors, and integrating Power BI reports and dashboards. The developer will also modernize legacy applications and business processes, address security vulnerabilities, interpret database models, and install and configure data gateways. The developer is responsible for estimating work, meeting agreed timelines and requirements, testing solutions, and communicating designs and progress to customers and project teams. The role supports cross-functional teams across application development, IT operations, and information security, and requires knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate licensing plans. Customer approval, suitability for a public trust, and successful completion of pre-employment screening are required.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience developing canvas and model-driven Power Apps with a user-friendly interface.
At least 3 years of experience creating forms and flows that move data from Forms to Azure DevOps.
At least 3 years of experience with Common Data Service/Microsoft Dataverse.
Experience developing solutions across multiple Office 365 services, such as SharePoint, Outlook, Graph API, OneNote, and OneDrive.
Experience integrating Power Apps with Azure API Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and REST services.
Experience migrating business processes, including InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer workflows, to Power Apps and Power Automate.
Understanding of Power Apps formulas and development methods for canvas and model-driven apps.
Proficiency working in Agile project methodologies.
Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and support multiple projects effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-starter able to acclimate quickly to a dynamic environment.
NACLC Public Trust required to start; customer approval, suitability to hold a public trust, and successful pre-employment background screening are required.

Nice To Haves

Training and/or certification for Power Apps Professional or Power Apps Developer.
Training and/or certification for Microsoft Flow/Power Automate.
SQL experience.

Responsibilities

Develop canvas and model-driven Power Apps.
Build enterprise-level mobile solutions using Power Platform best practices.
Use out-of-the-box Power Apps and Power Automate connectors and, preferably, create custom connectors.
Rewrite and re-engineer custom legacy applications as Power Apps solutions.
Design system approaches and functionality using new solution methods.
Interpret and design database models, including MySQL and SQL Server.
Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in Power Apps.
Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into Power Apps.
Meet requirements and agreed completion dates and perform unit and integration testing.
Communicate proposed designs and work progress to customers, team leads, and team members.
Support cross-functional project teams across application development, IT operations, and information security.
Estimate work content and achieve planned timelines.
Implement solutions using multiple data sources and install and configure data gateways.
Migrate business processes, including InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer workflows, to Power Apps and Power Automate.
