Requirements

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Ontario Grade 12 Equivalency program. Alternatively, a combination of job-specific knowledge, training, and experience is required

  • Experience performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to operate autonomously and driven to deliver outcomes with little oversight.

  • Proven strong performance and high quality in the current role.

  • Capability to spend half of the time working in temperature-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that the accurate chemicals are used in the production process.
  • Weigh out chemicals into containers ranging from 4g to 10kg as directed by the router.
  • Label products accurately and maintain detailed documentation for the process.
  • Perform quality assurance checks per SOPs to achieve flawless product quality by applying Electronic Batch Records (EBR).
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records of absenteeism, hours, and vacation for the department using Kronos/JDEdwards.
  • Empty bags of chemicals into the overhead dispensing hopper.
  • Adjust equipment as needed to dispense the required amounts of chemicals.
  • Perform tests to verify product acceptability and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Clean and set up dispensing and sealing equipment and perform all startup cleaning and checks.
