About The Position

As a Hot Punch Operator, you’ll be part of our Stanley Black & Decker team located in East Longmeadow, MA. In this role, the selected person will need to have good time management skills as they will be expected to run 5 furnaces at once. The selected person will need to be able to work in a team environment and have a strong understanding of 5S and TPM. Requirements

Willing to be hands-on with equipment troubleshooting and process improvements
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer ability
Mathematical ability
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Good time management skills
Strong understanding of 5S and TPM

Responsibilities

Learn to operate multiple pieces of equipment including a horizontal furnace, butt welder, punch press.
Work as part of a team to identify quality and production goals.
Flex hours/schedule as demand dictates
Participate in safety initiatives.
Meet customer quality and production needs.
Willing to cross-train on multiple pieces of equipment.
