2nd Shift Powder Coater
About The Position
Lake Air Products is a fast-growing contract manufacturer serving medical, aerospace and defense, industrial, and other markets. The Powder Coater prepares, coats, and finishes components in accordance with quality standards and production requirements. The role works independently and collaboratively with the production team to meet daily output, quality, and safety objectives and support operational goals. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Thursday, from 2:45 p.m. to 12:45 a.m., with a $1.50-per-hour shift differential added to the base pay rate. The position may require travel to Lake Air Products’ Little Chute, Wisconsin facility and may be subject to export control regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of powder coating experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift operation experience.
- Knowledge of GEMA powder coating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Apply powder coating to components on manually operated lines and in batch booth applications.
- Set up equipment for proper coating application.
- Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components before powder coating.
- Guide coworkers in properly preparing parts.
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area orderly.
- Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.
- Inspect parts after coating.
- Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.
- Complete required paperwork.
