About The Position

Perform production duties to produce parts according to order specifications. Move product and inventory using a forklift and bin system. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Execute and document quality inspections. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate prior coating process. Perform related duties as required by supervision. Satisfy the required hours of the department. Follow all safety procedures and protocols. Set an example for team members of commitment, application of skill, work ethics & habits, and personal character. Ability to successfully perform hanging, grinding, and tear off functions of the coating line.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent is desired.
Experience in coating is desired
Requires the ability to operate various hand and power tools.
Requires the ability to pass forklift operator course and drive a forklift.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Able to speak effectively with employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to operate various hand and power tools

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls.
The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; reach above the shoulders; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
