The purpose of this position is to provide necessary support to Finishing from preparation to completion of jobs. You will be responsible for assisting in the production process and ensuring quality control while maintaining a high level of dependability and integrity.

Requirements

  • This is an entry-level position; 0 years of experience is required.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to arrive on time and ready to work for your assigned shift, typically 7 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F.
  • Able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and organize your work to meet deadlines.
  • Follow directions, exercise good judgment, and maintain a positive attitude with high ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, sand, hang, and clean workpieces to prepare for powder coating.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and strictly adhere to PPE guidelines.
  • Follow all company policies regarding attendance, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Clean, inspect, maintain, and properly care for all company-provided tools and equipment.
  • Verify product colors, quantities, and all associated paperwork for accuracy.
  • Wrap, pad, and stack finished products correctly to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Assist in keeping shop work areas clean to ensure easy movement for carts between areas.
  • Perform other duties outside of the normal scope of work as requested by management.
