About The Position

The Poultry Vaccination Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by the crew. This role requires the ability to manage a crew with high efficiency and high quality standards, properly handle vaccine in transport and in chicken houses, and ensure the biosecurity of farms, equipment, and vehicles. The lead will also be responsible for completing schedules and service reports, repairing vaccination equipment, and conducting blood monitoring and rodent inspections. Employee health and safety are also major components of this role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves
  • Good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with others
  • Must be able to prepare work schedules and able to adjust to sudden changes in organizing work loads.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and be on call 24 hours/7 days a week.
  • Must be able to do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.

  • Oversee employee health and safety.
