About The Position
This role involves the transportation of poultry chicks, requiring the driver to handle buggies and cases with care. The position also includes ensuring the safety of the load through pre-trip inspections and maintaining regular communication with dispatch. Adherence to all relevant regulations, including DOT, company policies, biosecurity, FSMA, and local, state, and federal laws, is mandatory.
Requirements
- Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Load and unload buggies and cases in a gentle and careful manner.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure the safety of your load.
- Communicate with dispatchers on a regular basis.
- Comply with DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures.
- Perform all other relevant duties to the job.
