The Knott laboratory at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center analyzes clinical samples with spatial profiling methods such as Co-Detection by Indexing, which allows for the direct study of interactions between neighboring cells within the tumor that may govern the response to therapy. The lab is currently analyzing trials to study the effects of combination immunotherapies in patients with triple negative and estrogen receptor positive breast cancers, and is beginning trials in patients with early as well as late stage Her2 positive disease. Analyses of these clinical trials are expected to result in high-profile publications in top-tier scientific journals. The Postdoctoral Scientist will work independently but in close cooperation and consultation with the Principal Investigator and other Research Scientists, performing routine and complex laboratory procedures, potentially developing new research techniques and protocols, analyzing and interpreting data, and participating in publications and presentations.
